Podme is a leading Nordic audio platform within the Schibsted Group. I joined as the first in-house design hire to transition the company from startup momentum to scale-up reality. Growth had begun to stagnate, design had limited influence, and the product lacked a clear long-term direction.

Podme reached a critical inflection point where growth slowed and decision-making remained top-down. Design was underrepresented in strategic discussions, and the product roadmap lacked a shared vision connecting short-term delivery with long-term commercial value.


I worked with executive leadership to reposition design as a strategic partner, defining a "North Star" and a two-year product strategy.
This included:

Vertical Expansion: Introduced audiobooks as a new core content vertical grounded in jobs-to-be-done research.

Design Ops: Established rituals and ways of working to support scale.

Leadership: Hired and mentored a high-impact design team.
